Sari’s early education philosophy and instructional methodology are aligned with Bank Street child development models. Through curricular experiences that effectively fuse authentic Torah teachings, engaging secular-study enrichment, immersive Hebrew language, meaningful connections to our treasured and holy homeland of Israel – our incoming “Chai Achievers” will be positioned for long term learning success. Alongside an exceptional preschool staff, Sari is determined to nurture confidence and strong social peer bonds through empowering experiences for students at every stage of their precious development.
While Jewish education has always been Sari’s personal and professional passion, she steps up to lead our Chai Academy Preschool with extensive business experience, having managed accounting portfolios and human resource divisions for Shavit - Israel’s largest consulting corporation for archeological excavations. Among her many notable achievements, Sari was appointed Project Supervisor of an unprecedented operation in Mamilla, managing over 900 employees. Advancing from her tenure at the firm to a managerial post with Machon Israeli Learciologia, Sari was responsible for the institute's operational budgeting and accounting.
Our Preschool Director’s academic credentials and fervent passion for learning complement her invaluable leadership skills. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. Art) degree from Jerusalem’s Emuna College, Sari is nearing completion of her Master’s degree in Jewish Professional Studies and Organizational Management from the Spertus Institute in Chicago. A proud and determined lifelong learner, Menahelet Menaker exemplifies the ideal that education is a wondrous journey – and never a destination at which to stop striving for enriching personal growth.
